Our commitment to our customers
We take care of our existing customers first! If we have installed a sprinkler system for you or if you are an existing maintenance customer, we make it a priority to keep your sprinkler system working properly. You must take the first step and have us do the annual spring tune up and winterization in the fall. These two services solve most problems preemptively. If something goes wrong later, we’ll make it a priority to make necessary repairs.
We don't really look for irrigation repair work from sources other than existing maintenance accounts and sprinkler systems that we installed. Why you may ask? Sprinkler repairs often get quite involved and become more expensive than people expect. Generally this occurs because a system was poorly installed in the first place—or it is very old and needs extensive repairs. We generally prefer to avoid these situations.
Experience and proper equipment
We are ready to serve your needs.
- We have experienced personnel.
- We have an irrigation truck specially equipped for sprinkler services.
How we charge for irrigation repairs
- We charge on a labor and materials basis for all sprinkler repairs that are not under warranty.
- We charge $65 for the first half hour of service and $65 per hour thereafter.
- We do not charge when we go to pickup parts but we do markup the parts.
- We keep common parts in inventory and can do most repairs on the spot.
- If for some reason we have to come back on a subsequent day, we usually will not charge the half hour travel fee a second
time.
Trouble shooting is billable time
Sometimes diagnosing a sprinkler problem can be challenging. We charge for the time spent evaluating and diagnosing the problem. Our biggest asset for this trouble shooting comes from many years of experience. You are paying for this expertise. We try to be fair in our charges, but you must understand that we need to charge for the time spent.
Occasionally we may spend significant time resolving the problem. Remember, most of the system is underground where we can’t see it. Sometimes we have to reverse engineer what the original installer was thinking and how he did the installation. This can be a daunting task.
If for some reason we cannot resolve your problem, we won’t charge you for our efforts.
